Vlerick Prime Foundation Partner
Vlerick was one of the first to set up a Centre for Excellence in Business Process Management. Over the years it has built up huge expertise in business process management (BPM) and business process innovation. The Centre is about to celebrate its tenth anniversary, something it has in common with our new Prime Foundation Partner and sponsor of the Centre, ViCre. And there’s more we have in common. Eddy Helsen, Managing Director of ViCre, and Professor Stijn Viaene tell why and how the partnership came about and what they plan to achieve.

Eddy Helsen on the approach that ViCre uses for his clients: “Essentially it comes down to a 5-track policy. First and foremost we are working on the vision. That vision is clarified and translated into the everyday reality of each employee. Thereafter, the focus is determined as well as the processes that need to be followed, on the basis of a simple conceptual model and action plan. As a next step, the individual contribution of each employee is covered. Is this sufficiently clear, does it lie within the defined vision and focus? In short, the employee knows how, when and to whom he can provide added value. Finally, tools that will also ensure continuity are conveyed.
With this approach we really try to differentiate ourselves: no-nonsense, direct and very hands-on. ViCre works together in a very intense and dedicated manner with the customer. We address all knowledge and creativity but also the commitment of all our customers’ employees and involve them in the process as much as possible. Our green office
Sustainability is one of the ViCre values, next to authenticity, continuity and resilience. We want see these values reflected in our working environment, that’s why we choose to house the offices in the energy-neutral office center De Basis at Kamp C in Westerlo. At this location, we can also facilitate session with our customers.
